view

I talk about it a lot. How it's different for each of us. And how the different is okay. In fact, the different adds color and texture to life.

It's perspective I'm referring to and it changes every. thing.

What we see from one side of a story is not the same as the other side.

I keep remembering this -- how sometimes being in the middle gives us a view that makes it difficult to understand entirely.

He sees wider, though. And I'm grateful I don't, yet sometimes I wish I do.

What He has is perspective and it's the one thing I lack.

So when you struggle to make sense of what you see, remember that to Him your story is a beautiful view -- the dark has a strong backdrop for the radiant splashes of color, and All. Is. Grace.

Today's post was part of my friend, Lisa-Jo's fun challenge each Friday to take five and Just. Write.

"...for five, short, bold beautiful minutes... unscripted and unedited...
without worrying if it's just right or not."

  2. Oh yes, Amy ... donning His perspective is like putting a great new pair of glasses on over weary, blinded eyes. Thanks for this offering today!

  4. Yes the different is okay. Not a right, not a wrong just a different. Why?? Because God wants to use each of us for a different purpose...a different dream.

  5. a perspective. that is what Kaycee was talking about in her post about view today as well. 'different perspectives' is how we learn about life isn't it...but sometimes its hard to realize that some things aren't wrong just different.
