*Travel* is frequently marked on the calendar.
For years, I've battled guilt and wrestled the should's.
Momma's just aren't supposed to leave home.
Some are called to a different way of life.
To jobs where packing an overnight bag is done with some regularity.
I am one of them.
Early on, packing for travel made me feel like a tumbleweed in chaos.
Time changes things.
What I didn't know about fear and obligation made my preparing stressful.
Truth tells me that there are no should's.
I now firmly believe that we each are created to life unique lives.
Time changes me.
Truth seeps into my heart and softens my approach.
I choose to remember my story of days past that have led to today.
Gratitude for my story is my worship.
Bending low to count the gifts honors Him
--even when life doesn't seem to make sense.
There is purpose in every bit of our story.
Dayspring's Redeemed collection celebrates the way God, in His generous grace, sews together every beautiful bit of our lives to form one masterpiece creation after another.
Gathering my essentials for this next work trip, I reach for my new wallet and bag--gifts from Dayspring that remind me of my story, and that help me to choose gratitude.
I appreciate these and the story He is writing in my life.

Beautiful words, friend. Redeemed. I love that word. Lately, when I think about that word I think about Christ lifting me up from the pit. I see myself in blackness and then there He is, pulling me out, setting my feet firm beside Himself. Redemption is sweet chocoate cake after the long, dry fasting.
