Five Minute Friday: Wonder

Here we are again on this eve before the work comes to rest, and courage beckons me again: Just. Write.

Ready, Set. GO.

Wonder...

What will our days be like?
What will our family *look* like?
Will my Today-dreams be a part of Tomorrow's living?
Who will the Boy-Man become?
Will my marriage survive the long haul?
Who will be walking alongside me as my friend when I'm old?
Will I ever love a dog?

I wonder so much. Admittedly, my mind slips away at thoughts like this quite often. And living among the moment really is hard to do. Because, it's so hard to wait--especially when the heart speaks.

Only He knows and when I think about how the God of the Universe--the Creator of the first man and the Healer of more hearts than my own--has a plan for me, I wonder how it can possibly be True.

The heart holds tightly to Truth when the mind considers and sometimes doubts. And still, somehow, the Truth always wins and my *wonders* become whispers among the courage to Trust.

STOP.

Amen to that! With all of our wonderings and wanderings, still we must have the courage to trust.

Love your list, especially the question about who will your boy become.
