living gratefully :: unexpected

It warms me from the inside and soothes my aching soul.

Without warning a smile brushes across my face.

An artist's work.

Soft, gentle words flow from the river of my mouth.

A fisherman was here.

My heart rains with tears of gladness over what is happening here.

A farmer cultivates.

Unexpected {Grace} washes the heaviness of the storm.

What was mucked up and made muddy is now becoming clean.

What was charred from the fire of anger, bitterness and rage is now
     calm, peaceful and glad.

He touches in ways completely unexpected.

Noticing, I am grateful. And this is my worship.

Today's post is part of my friend, Lisa-Jo's fun challenge each Friday to

"Write for five, short, bold beautiful minutes...
     Unscripted and unedited...
Without worrying if it's just right or not."

  2. wow. so good. The bible doesn't talk to much of the life lived AFTER so many were healed, set free and raised from the dead, but they do mention "went out dancing and praising God"

that is you. that is your worship. your worship tells a story. a testimony. so good. you can feel your gratefulness as you read this post...your thankfulness warms His heart.

  4. Beautiful, Beautiful, how I love these thoughts today... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, sweet sister in Christ. Praying all of God's rishest blessings over you this day, that this may be a turning, a new phase of living in the full glory of the grace he has given, taht you rest in knowing that his forgiveness is long and his memory is short, as your past, the shadows, no longer exist in his book... Bless you always, Beautiful Amy.
