Your words remind me that I often forget when I read the stories of characters in the Bible, that I am reading about their lives after their stories were completed. The Bible does not always document their struggles before their yielding to God but it so helps me to be reminded, as you did in your post, that they were every bit as human as I and, and as they wrestled before “saddling up,” with the grace and power of the Father, so can I.E Adams Wrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18307829553002404716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2193460338001013445.post-44573150331940596002013-06-20T00:31:44.434-04:002013-06-20T00:31:44.434-04:00The story of God seeks out the ordinary so that gl...The story of God seeks out the ordinary so that glory can shine through all the more brilliantly--this I believe. Still, it's happening -- my God-made life -- and my gathering of answers doesn't make a bit of difference.

And... I've been in this struggle lately, whether I really trust God with my dreams. Because I've had some big ones not pan out... but I want to dream, to trust... and then here are your words that are just perfect really.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2193460338001013445.post-15042567625218962742013-06-19T14:58:14.287-04:002013-06-19T14:58:14.287-04:00We've been watching The Bible series on DVD in...We've been watching The Bible series on DVD in our small group and last week's portion was when Mary was told she would give birth and then her giving birth to Jesus. I thought about many of these same things you mention here. I wonder about Joseph too. He wondered. God had an angel visit him to help him believe. And then he stood by her. Dreams are crazy, but we serve a mighty God who truly can do anything, including answer our questions! Good stuff here!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14399372926189206869noreply@blogger.com
